How the hire system works

Every hat in the shop is priced for sale and coded for hire. 

Firstly, visit our shop and choose a hat, we have changing rooms so you can bring your outfit and try everything on together. All our hats are coded so we can tell you how much each one is to hire.

You can make a provisional booking without paying the hire charge but you do run the risk of the hat being hired or sold if you cannot be contacted. 

This period can be extended for an extra charge provided the hat is available for that time. All your booking details are entered into our hat-hire diary and on the chosen day of collection we will have prepared the hat in a hat box ready for you to take away. On collection you pay a refundable deposit, which will be returned to you when you bring the hat back safely. Do not worry if the hat that you choose is too big in head circumference as we can sew pads inside the petersham band for a good fit.

We will customize the hat that you choose with additional feathers etc.  Please speak to the friendly staff when you come in to visit us and we will endeavour to help.
